 Geert-Jan is a social worker in a mental healthcare institute.
Around 15 years ago he did his first hot yoga class as a student witch was an overwhelming experience. He went back over and over again. He found out rapidly that proper breathing in a heated room was helpfull, next to practicing (hot)yoga on a regular base.
Physically he felt better and healthier, mentally more focused and relaxed, not only during class but also in general, easier to deal with all kinds of life’s discomfort. That’s what yoga is for him in a nutshell.
After doing a teacher training in Thailand in 2014 he started to teach yoga.
And he is happy to guide you during your yoga practice at melt!
